Back from Europe — First Monday Jobless
This is my first Monday jobless since coming back from vacation in Europe. My main goal, obviously, is to find a new job. I’ve been applying to administrative positions and coffee shops so far. I tried looking for “work from home” jobs, but most seemed sketchy... so I stopped after looking through a few pages on Indeed.
So far this morning I’ve had English Breakfast tea that I bought in Paris. I spent some time reading about Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s relationship on snapchat — waste of time, I know. Right now I am going to apply to jobs on Indeed; I was planning to tally-mark how many I do each day, which is why I opened up my Evernote app, but then I started typing away… which is what is happening in this very moment.
I would like to pursue a job in social media or something coffee related, so those are the job searches I will be focusing on. Not quite sure how long it will take to find a job, but it seems from articles I’ve read online that it’ll take about a month, two tops depending on the type of job I’m looking for. Obviously jobs in harder career fields will take longer, but I’d like to find something part-time for now just to get the income rolling in.
